Terms and Conditions for Music Production

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to all customers who choose StreetBeat as the producer of their music. By accepting the production of a track, you automatically agree to these terms.

2. Deposit

At the start of the production, a deposit is paid, typically 50 % of the total production price, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

3. Completion and Remaining Payment

Once the track is fully produced, mixed, and mastered, the remaining balance is paid. Ownership does not transfer to the customer until full payment has been completed.

4. Ownership

Once the full agreed-upon amount has been paid, ownership transfers 100% of the rights to the customer. The track is thereafter fully owned by the customer, without reservations or restrictions – “no strings attached.”

5. Cancellation and Refund

  • Cancellation after production has begun: The deposit is non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
  • Cancellation before production begins: The deposit is fully refundable.

6. Liability

StreetBeat is responsible for the production according to the agreed delivery, but disclaims liability for indirect losses, commercial success, or third-party claims after delivery and payment.

7. Disputes

Any disputes will be attempted to be resolved amicably. If this is not possible, the dispute will be settled under Danish law.

8. Commencement

The contract comes into effect from the date the deposit is paid.

Terms and Conditions for Mix & Master

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to all customers of StreetBeat. By paying the deposit, you automatically agree to the terms.

2. Deposit

A deposit must be paid upon ordering (typically 50%), unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Completion and Remaining Payment

Once the production is completed, the remaining balance must be paid. The watermark is removed, and ownership only transfers to the customer once full payment has been completed.

4. Ownership

Once the full agreed-upon amount has been paid, all rights fully transfer to the customer. The customer then owns the music without reservations or restrictions.

5. Cancellation and Refund

  • Cancellation after production has begun: The deposit is generally non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Cancellation before production begins: The deposit is fully refundable.

6. Liability

StreetBeat delivers the production according to the agreement but does not assume liability for indirect commercial success, losses, or third-party claims after delivery and payment.

7. Disputes

Disputes will be attempted to be resolved amicably. If this is not possible, the dispute will be settled under Danish law.

8. Commencement

These terms come into effect upon payment of the deposit.

Terms and Conditions for Music Distribution

1. General

These terms and conditions apply to all artists who choose to release music through StreetBeat. By selecting StreetBeat as your distributor, you automatically agree to these terms.

2. Rights

You retain all rights to your music. By choosing to release your music through StreetBeat, you grant us a non-exclusive right to release, distribute, and promote your tracks on digital platforms and other relevant sales channels.

3. Revenue Sharing

Revenue from sales, streaming, and other commercial exploitation of the music via StreetBeat will be distributed as follows:

  • 88 % to you as the artist
  • 12 % to StreetBeat

You are free to promote and earn money from your music in other ways — for example, live performances, radio plays, physical sales, or your own campaigns — without StreetBeat claiming any share.

Earnings are paid out once a year in January. Payment is made only if your total net income for the previous year exceeds 200 DKK. Amounts below this threshold will be carried over to the following year’s statement.

4. Liability

You guarantee that you own the rights to the music you choose to release through StreetBeat and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights. StreetBeat disclaims all liability for claims from third parties related to your music.

5. Duration, Termination, and Removal

The terms apply from the moment your track is released through StreetBeat.
The agreement can be terminated by either party with 3 months’ notice. Upon termination, the music will be removed from distribution, and any earned revenue will continue to be paid out in accordance with Section 3.

If you wish to have a track removed from distribution without terminating the agreement, this will cost $24 pr. track.

6. Disputes

Any disputes will be attempted to be resolved amicably. If this is not possible, the dispute will be settled according to Danish law.
